Senior Project Controller

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Project Controller to strengthen our Finance team in Bergen. As a Senior Project Controller at Aibel, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing financial operations for a diverse portfolio of energy projects.

About the position

Project Controllers are responsible for ensuring accurate financial planning, analysis, and reporting, while collaborating closely with project managers to drive efficiency and profitability. Your strategic insights and meticulous attention to detail will ensure the financial health and success of our initiatives. In order to succeed you must enjoy working in the areas between finance and technology, and you must handle and enjoy complexity and various interfaces well.

Responsibilities and tasks include

• Monthly closing of project accounts
• Financial analysis
• Monthly Internal and external financial reporting
• Financial forecasting and budgeting
• Assist management with risk identifications and variation orders
• Help to identify opportunities for improvement and new ways of working

Qualifications

• BSc degree in economics, finance, accounting or similar
• 5+ years relevant experience
• SAP experience is an advantage
• Good analytical skills, solution oriented and targeted
• Strong digital knowledge and enjoy applying technical solutions in your work
• Strong analytical capabilities with a keen eye for details, as well as taking on a visionary and strategic perspective
• Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English
