We invite you to become part our newly established organization in Bergen, where we have been awarded a major subcontract in the Sotra Link project. SICE will oversee the full implementation of electromechanical and automation systems throughout the entire infrastructure. This includes main and secondary roads, tunnels, bike lanes, bridges, and viaducts. SICE will be responsible for the supply, installation, and commissioning of technical systems, such as lighting, ventilation, traffic management, control, and communications.

We're now seeking an Electrical Engineer, or an electrical installator (must have DSB approval) to take on the role of Site Supervisor, responsible for on-site coordination of all project phases. This includes managing teams, subcontractors, logistics, materials, and equipment, ensuring strict adherence to specifications, and keeping the project on schedule and within budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Coordination & Supervision

• Assist the manager and project team in all aspects of the production process.
• Participate in project management meetings.
• Manage project logistics, including transportation and storage of materials.
• Identify and engage suitable subcontractors for project execution.
• Oversee installation activities and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Oversee weekly subcontractor meetings to align work progress.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Perform quality control checks on all performed work.
• Identify and resolve irregularities with subcontractors during installation activities.
• Issue non-compliance notices to subcontractors regarding quality or scheduling.

Health, Safety & Site Management

• Conduct daily site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify risks.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards for all workers.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed daily logs of site activities.
• Have a good understanding of project documents, including plans, drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Prepare installation time plans and adapt schedules based on project needs.
• Perform progress checks, punch lists, and final inspections to ensure completion.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, or an electrical installator with DSB approval.
• Basic knowledge of fiber optic networks.
• English proficiency (C1 level).
• Preferably a minimum of 3 years of experience in similar projects (Electromechanical Installations, ITS, and SCADA).

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Work takes place at active construction sites, including roadways, tunnels, and bridges.
• Tasks will be performed both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
• Occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
• Frequent standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and balancing required.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment/materials when needed.
