HR Manager for Mowi Markets Norway AS

We are looking for an ambitious and passionate person to take on the role as HR Manager for Mowi Markets Norway AS at our office in Bergen. Mowi Markets Norway AS employs well over 150 employees.

About the position

Human Resources Manager will be responsible for providing overall strategic human resources leadership, organizational and talent development efforts to meet business ambition, strategy and objectives. This position will oversee strategy and delivery in all areas of human resources, including employee life-cycle management, organizational development, talent management, learning and development, workforce planning, employee benefits and wellness, compensation, rewards and recognition, HR systems, legal and regulatory compliance and labour and employee relations.

One important success factor for the position will be to ensure an organizational setup and rightsizing that enables us to reach our goals, thus understanding the business and working closely with the stakeholders is key.

Additionally, the HR Manager will have a shared responsibility to shape, communicate and implement the company’s strategy, including championing efforts that support the company’s vision, mission and values and attainment of ambitious growth objectives.

Main Tasks

• Develop a human resources strategy that is closely aligned and integrated with the business strategy,  
• Lead organizational development efforts to establish an organization with the talent capability to meet strategic growth, cost excellence, talent export and profit objectives. 
• Develop the overall talent management strategy to ensure strong programs in the areas of talent attraction, recruitment, development, succession, diversity & inclusion, engagement and retention. 
• Lead the implementation of Group processes including performance management, objective setting, development planning, annual compensation programs and talent review and planning. 
• Apply strategic people, talent, and workforce data analysis skills  
• Oversee employee and labour relations activities including contract negotiations and associate satisfaction programs.  
• Continually assess the competitiveness of all programs.
• Act as a confidant(e) to the Managing Director and other Management Team Members and a sounding board for their teams, enabling them objectives delivery. 
• Ensure compliance with employment-related laws and regulations.
• Execute and monitor respective internal controls.

Experience and qualifications

• Experienced HR leader with a strong generalist (strategic and operational) background. 
• Strong knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations 
• Strong functional knowledge 
• Education; University degree (long experience can compensate)
• Languages; Fluent English and Norwegian
• Strong business acumen coupled with equally strong leadership and influencing abilities. 
• Ability to think strategically and operationally; makes things happen in a context where multiple stakeholders are involved. 
• Experience of navigating and building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
