Development Engineer Closures and Applications
About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Development Engineer to lead and support our material development projects as a part of our Sustainable Innovations team in Spikkestad, Norway. You will play a central role in developing closures and applications for Elopak, and new business development segments in collaboration with internal product development teams, customers, and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Develop closures and applications from idea and proof of concept to fully developed technical and commercial solutions.
- Collaborate and manage stakeholders within internal teams, including product development and the P2C department.
- Project Management and Technical Support related to Closures and Applications.
Qualifications
- Master of Science in Process Engineering, Material, Chemistry, or Mechanics.
- The ideal candidate is senior and has experience in developing and designing closures.
- We are looking for someone with experience in project management.
- Experience with supplier audits is an advantage.
- Fluent in English for business purposes; knowledge of a Scandinavian language is an advantage but not required.

Travel requirements and Location
The position will be based at Elopak, Spikkestad. It will require some travel. Approx. 30-50 days per year depending on projects.
