Exciting opportunity- GE HealthCare in Oslo is looking for Head of Clinical Supplies
Activities contributing to the design and development of products and their interaction with the human body. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- As Head of Clinical Supplies, you will provide your leadership skills together with your skills within pharmaceutical production, development and compliance to our growing portfolio of diagnostic imaging tracers.
- Lead a team of about 8 individuals, with expertise on pharmaceutical clinical supplies across Norway (5), UK (1), The Netherlands (1) and China (1).
- The team in Oslo label, packs and delivers products for clinical and non-clinical trials, technical studies and regulatory purposes. Products includes investigational pharmaceutical products (IMP), kits for preparation of IMP, final intermediates, reference standards and similar.
- The team lead set up of clinical supplies to clinical and non-clinical studies together with other functions and external vendors, and continued supplies through all trials.
- Ensure operations against stringent compliance requirements, department is regularly inspected by regulatory agencies
- Drive a culture of LEAN, continuous improvement
- Collaboration across functions to deliver projects, improve processes and working environment for team
- Use technical background and acts as a resource for colleagues, may lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
Required Qualifications
- MSc in Pharmaceutics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or similar
- cGMP experience and mindset of continuous improvement
- Strong Interpersonal and leadership skills. Customer focused mindset.
- Experience from Pharmaceutical Industry, manufacturing, QA or R&D
- English and Norwegian fluent
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
