Do you want to be our next Engineer - Commissioning - EIT/SAS?
As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Engineer - Commissioning - Mech. with experience in onshore or offshore projects.
This position has a 15/13 day rotation.
Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
What will you be doing?
- Develop detailed step-by-step commissioning test procedures for own systems and provide input for other systems
- Participate in the development of plant start-up, performance test procedures, governing documents, and work instructions
- Define temporary systems, test equipment, special tools, consumables, and first fills
- Evaluate commissioning and operation spares, and provide plan and budget input
- Participate in engineering design reviews, vendor FATs, and final inspections
- Prepare commissioning scope and work packages in PCS
- Execute loop tests, system punch-out, MC handover, and commissioning activities according to plans and procedures
- Report progress, manage change control, and conduct system take-over activities
- Execute start-up and performance test activities, and supervise commissioning assistance and vendor personnel
Qualifications we think you should have:
- Good knowledge of the work processes within the discipline being carried out
- Minimum 5 years of experience from EPC processes within new build/renewables segments
- FSE & First Aid course
- Proficiency in MIPS, MS Office 365, PCS (Pims, ProCoSys), and Autodesk Simulate
- Technical/Bachelor’s degree (lack of education can be compensated with relevant work experience)
- Efficient, proactive, team player, and flexible
- Proficiency in ProArc and MIPS
