Adventure Designer

We are looking for an Adventure Designer for a temporary position to join our team!

About the role

We are looking for a service-oriented, and passionate Norway enthusiast for a temporary position with start as soon as possible to January 31st 2026, with potential for extension. The position is for our Norway-focused efforts, as one of our team members is going on maternity leave. With ambitious growth plans, we seek someone eager to join an adventure company that goes the extra mile to ensure our participants have memorable experiences. The position is full-time, and the workplace is our office at our newly renovated premises at Lysaker - Norrøna House

Main areas of responsibilities

• Adventure Planning: Design and curate a variety of outdoor adventures, for example hiking, skiing, and climbing, tailored to different skill levels and interests
• Customer Engagement: Support the CX team in delivering outstanding customer service by helping clients with trip selections, gear recommendations, and creating personalized itineraries
• Expert Knowledge: Stay informed about safety practices, local partners and local conditions to offer knowledgeable advice and guidance
• Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback from participants, guides and local partners to continually enhance our adventure offerings and customer experience

Qualifications

• Passion for the outdoors and a deep understanding of adventure activities. Being an experienced traveler especially in Norway is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong administrative skills, with ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
• Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language - written and spoken
• Solid business acumen and commercial understanding of P&L, margins, and efficient operational processes
