We are looking for skilled E&I/Automation Commissioning/Field Service Engineers for our generator sets and pump systems delivered to offshore oil&gas and wind industry. 

Workplace:

Field service around the world / Eureka locations as needed. 

MAIN FUNCTIONS AND KEY TASKS: 

• Startup of diesel generator set in cooperating work with mechanical commissioning/service engineer 
• Functional test including control panel, auxiliaries, generator set, and project interface 
• Troubleshooting of PLC logic, instrument loop, and electrical faults 
• Loop testing 
• Megger testing of electrical equipment 
• Rotation check on electrical motors 
• Tuning of generator set/pump starting sequence, including diesel engine governor, generator AVR, logic adjustments 
• Synchronization and load sharing of generators 
• Verification/test of generator relay settings 
• Cooperation with engineering department for as built documentation and technical support. 
• Connection to 3rd party devices for update of configuration 
• Support installation/startup of high or low voltage motors for pump operation. Submerged or dry-mounted 
• Participate in package testing; internal test and with customer (FAT) at Eureka workshop or at supplier 
• Project planning and implementation of small aftermarket assignments 

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelor of engineering or other relevant technical education 
• Proactive attitude 
• Knowledge of public requirements and regulations and offshore standards 
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience 
• ATEX or IECEx experience 
• Automation experience in programming and testing (Allen Bradley, ABB, Siemens or similar) 
• Fluent in Norwegian and English  
• Lack of education can be compensated for by long relevant experience and professional insight
