Validation Manager for Elopak
We are seeking a Validation Manager for a permanent position in the Food & Material Laboratories at Elopak CO in Spikkestad (Røyken) in Asker municipality. The position will be part of the laboratory team consisting of 11 dedicated and enthusiastic Laboratory Engineers. Our laboratory offers a wide range of analytical services supporting development programs, handling customer claims, and providing general technical support to our customers. The development programs are driven by a strong focus on sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that our laboratory test data and results are consistent, accurate and precise.
- Coordinate the validation work in Food & Material Laboratory as well as the production plants in collaboration with the laboratory manager and other responsible area managers.
- Support the laboratory team with expertise in the analysis and interpretation of statistical data from laboratory experiments.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of templates and databases used to document analytical results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance.
- Some laboratory work within material and chemical analyses.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate is structured, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple activities simultaneously. We are looking for a profile with natural communication skills who contributes positively to a good culture and team cohesion. We envision a candidate who is curious and proactive. Additionally, it is an advantage to be responsible, robust, and independent to succeed in this role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry, food, or material technology.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience from work in a laboratory.
- Experience with statistical methods for laboratory data analysis.
- Experience with validation of analytical methods.
- Highly skilled in analytical thinking
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of a Scandinavian language is an advantage.
- Proficient in using data/IT as work tools
