Kongsberg Maritime is recruiting a Finance Controller in the Finance Service Center (FSC).

The FSC provides services related to accounting, controlling, payroll, travel expenses, collection of receivables and reporting. The main area of responsibility in this role, will be related to the Credit Collection team, supporting our business world-wide.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle your own portfolio of customers, as part of the collection team.
• Collaborate with the sales team and the business in order to solve customer cases.
• Follow up on customer relations through dialogue and negotiations to ensure timely payments.
• Monitor and follow up overdue debtors.
• Periodic status reporting and follow-up on KPIs.
• Follow up queries from internal and external customers.
• Support continuous improvements and internal projects.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelors degree in finance or similar, relevant experience may compensate for less formal education.
• 2-5 years of work experience is preferable.
• Knowledge and interest in use of Microsoft tools and applications such as Power BI.
• Experience with ERP systems MS Dynamics is an advantage.
• Good oral and written communications skills in both Norwegian and English.
