Job Description

• Provide discipline input to Design Basis and contribute to safety assessments.
• Prepare and support reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, etc.) and develop Terms of Reference.
• Perform ALARP assessments and Dropped Objects evaluations.
• Conduct Flare Radiation Assessments and design Active Firefighting systems, including hydraulic calculations.
• Design Fire & Gas detection layouts and perform Functional Safety assessments.
• Manage Area Classification and Fire Protection Data Sheets.
• Carry out Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) and Noise/Vibration assessments.
• Follow up on vendor packages and deliverables.

 

Qualification Requirements

• MSc or BSc in Safety Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience within Technical Safety, preferably in Oil & Gas projects.
• Basic knowledge of working environment requirements.
• Knowledge of Norsok standards and strong technical expertise.
• Excellent communication skills, both in Norwegian and English.
• Strong cooperation and teamworking abilities with a proactive mindset.
• Experience preparing and delivering proposals, presentations, and reports.
