We are a robotics startup in Stavanger/Sandnes looking for new talents. Together we make an autonomous robot that’s revolutionizing airport operations.

Currently we are twelve employees, but in the coming months we will scale up fast.

Who you are

You are a senior software developer with strong experience in backend development. Self-driven, motivated and with a passion for tech. You love to learn and aren’t afraid of a challenge.

Skills/experiences that may help your application:

• Python development

• Robotics

• Cloud services, e.g. Azure, AWS, etc

• Image recognition using AI-models

• Fast API

• Microservices, e.g Docker Swarm

• Working with hardware

• Experience from startups

What you can expect

Diverse, fun days building software for one of the most cutting-edge companies in the country. What we are trying to achieve is novel and complex, and therefore challenging. But if you’re the right person for Roboxi, you know that’s a good thing. It means we spend our days learning new stuff and exploring uncharted territories. At Roboxi you won’t be making the same database migration over and over, but rather figuring out how to solve completely new problems.

Some problems we have solved/are solving:

• Making the robot drive by itself

• Creating a system that makes 3D models of cracks in the surface

• Autonomously detect and remove objects on the runway at high speed, in all weather conditions

• Autonomous fence inspection

• Construct a custom high end camera system for the above problems

• Evaluate new sensors for novel problems

At Roboxi you will have the possibility of working with a lot of different things outside development, if you so desire. Some examples are:

• Testing innovative solutions and technology

• Working with customers around the world

• Working with suppliers to find the optimum equipment.

Working arrangement

We offer a flexible working arrangement. Both remote and in-person options can be considered, but the work is easier and more fun if you live nearby and can drop by some days a week. Currently, most of us are in the office at least three days a week. The position may include some traveling to visit clients at airports around the world.
