Key Responsibilities:
As a Work Prep Engineer – Electro, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare job packages in IFS for electrical, instrumentation, control, and telecommunication work such as installation of electro, instrument and telecom (EIT) field equipment, cabinets, junction boxes, lights, control stations, sockets, power, control and earthing cables, cable routing including cable ladders & trays and cable transits, tubing, etc.
- Experience with job setting and familiar with preparation of engineering work packages.
- Constant interaction with other members of own discipline and all related to work being executed.
- Assist on other relevant engineering activities within the Electrical, Instrument & Control and Telecommunication disciplines.
- Contribute to meeting project milestones, budget, and quality requirements.
- Manage changes and risks within your area of responsibility.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement within an integrated multi-discipline team.
- Assist the base department in developing and updating procedures and routines.
- Some travel may be required, both offshore and onshore.
Qualifications:
- Electrician, diploma in electro or automation Teknisk Fagskole.
- Minimum 3-5 plus years’ experience working in Norwegian projects
- Preferrable familiar with NORSOK and other Norwegian Standards
- Experience as field engineer from North Sea experience oil and gas industry will be advantageous.
- Skilled in estimating hours for the EIT construction work.
- Achieves results set by self and others, meets timelines, and demonstrates enthusiasm, persistence, and tenacity. Breaks down work into executable tasks. Acts accountable for work produced and ensures it is "right the first time.
- Experience from the Brownfield and Greenfield projects oil and gas projects for topside scope.
- Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both verbal and writing.
