Join Our Team as a Regulatory Compliance Specialist!
Ensuring products and processes meet the highest standards of regulatory and ethical compliance.
We are looking for a dedicated professional to oversee Orkla House Care's (OHC) compliance initiatives, monitor industry regulations, and propose solutions to mitigate risks.
This role is newly established and crucial in maintaining our commitment to excellence and integrity. You will be responsible for overseeing that OHC's products and processes comply with regulatory and compliance requirements, guidelines and ethical expectations. Duties include analysing internal systems and processes and proposing new initiatives to ensure compliance and reduce potential risks and liabilities.
The role will report to Quality & Compliance Director in OHC. You will be part of a team consisting of Sustainability Manager and SQA engineer (Supplier Quality Assurance) and working in tight collaborations with the QHES-teams at our factories in Sweden, UK and China. You will also benefit from the extensive expertise available within Orkla ASA and its portfolio companies.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Research and interpret legal requirements for new initiatives.
Contribute to develop, update, and implement policies, processes and control systems in collaboration with the line organization.
Conduct risk assessments and manage risk-based product regulatory test programs, e.g. for REACH
Participate in incident handling and provide advice on risk-mitigating actions.
Lead product and system certification initiatives (e.g., FSC, Recycled Content Certification).
Conduct and facilitate training sessions for employees.
Liaise with various departments to ensure business operations align with policies.
Report on status, risks, and progress.
Qualifications:
Higher education in a relevant field.
Minimum 5 years of business experience, ideally in a corporate environment.
Regulatory or Compliance experience from work in industrial manufacturing or from Testing-, Inspection-, Certification- or Standard- organizations
Experience in an international manufacturing matrix organization, including supplier follow-up
Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.
Knowledge of materials and chemical testing methods and the ability to provide actionable recommendations.
Experience in risk management or auditing.

This role is full-time (100%). Location can be either in our main office in Oslo, Norway, or at any of our production facilities in Bankeryd, Sweden, or Bromsgrove, UK. Some travel will be required.
