Sr Accountant/Controller - Finance (BH-297293)

Contract period: ASAP - 12 months duration
Location: Tananger

Main Tasks:

• Responsibility for month end reporting with cost/revenue accruals and follow up of forecasts for business unit/projects

• Responsibility for creating budgets/forecasts, reporting and follow up a specific cost/profit center/ business unit/project

• Monthly variance analysis and profitability reporting 

• Actively participate in tenders and contract reviews

• Finance advisor for the operational organization, including financial training 

• Calculate and maintain internal cost rates

• Ensure compliance with procedures and processes

• Process improvements

• Participate in quarterly audits, - external and internal

• Due to occasionally tight deadlines, it is important that you are flexible and willing to adapt to deadlines and everyday challenges

Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor within finance and accounting

• 2 - 5 years relevant experience with finance accounting/project control, preferable from the oil industry

• Good Excel skills

• Proactive and highly developed communication and cooperation skills

• Detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy in combination with the ability to look at the big picture

• Fluent in both Norwegian and English, both oral and written

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
