Sponsorship Lead
We are looking for a Global Sponsorship Lead to develop and manage Statkraft’s approach to sponsorships. This entails development and activation of strategic sponsorship initiatives aimed to raise brand awareness and strengthen the organisation’s market position. You will actively collaborate with the whole organisation.
Corporate Communications and Marketing (CCM) is responsible for strengthening the overall position and reputation of Statkraft in Norway and internationally, both internally and externally. The Brand, Marketing and Content team is responsible for the overall branding of Statkraft, strategic content production as well as events, sponsorships and marketing and customer communication. The role will report to Vice President Brand, Marketing and Content in Oslo.
The ideal candidate can work operationally and strategically and is highly organised and able to perform in a fast-paced and demanding environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior communications professional who enjoys working holistically with communication and marketing.
In this role you will:
Lead development of overall sponsorship strategy in Statkraft, as well as key performance indicators
Lead market research efforts to identify trends for development of sponsorship strategies.
Support Statkraft markets in their sponsorship activities, including developing tools and resources to be used across the organisation
Establish, negotiate and manage Norwegian sponsorship agreements, as well as effectively activate these sponsorships towards internal and external stakeholders
Track and report on sponsorship performance
Oversee department's budget use against plans.
Cooperate with Internal Communication team to activate agreements internally
Cooperate with Content Production team to raise brand awareness externally

Qualifications:
University degree at Master level or similar in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Brand or related disciplines.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including experience working with sponsorships.
Strong business understanding, experience from working in or with large. international organisations, and a keen interest in the renewable energy industry.
Experience from sponsorship management, and ability to make the most of modest budgets
Excellent writing, storytelling, and presentation skills in Norwegian and English
Good overview of social and digital channels.
Extensive experience in a wide variety of communication formats and styles
