Technical Superintendent / Vessel Manager - Shipping

Our in-house ship management division is now looking for a new Technical Superintendent / Vessel Manager.

A Technical Superintendent has the overall responsibility for the safe, economical and efficient operation of assigned vessels, i.e. that the vessels, within allocated human and financial resources, are managed, crewed and operated in accordance with the company’s policies, procedures and management system. 

Eligible candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

• Chief Engineer's certificate for unlimited trade and seagoing experience in senior rank on large cargo ships for a minimum of 2 years (sea time)

• B.Eng. Honours or MSc degree, preferably in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture

• Minimum 4 years working experience in a responsible technical position in a shipbuilding yard, ship repair yard, similar organization or Classification Society
