About Commissioning Services Nordics AS

We are a newly established subcompany to CTS Nordics AS. What we do is perform commissioning in datacenter construction projects: checking if the datacenter is sat up in accordance with current laws, regulations and project scope requirements. Our core job is to ensure that the datacenter assets, infrastructure and building operative, are functional and ready for handover from the project to the end-customer who owns the building.

So far, we have 9 employees but need more technical personnel within cooling and electrical disciplines due to new orders in the pipeline. The need for datacenters is fast growing due to increasing data consumption among both individuals and businesses.

Our projects are located all over the Nordics. Soon we might also get engaged in projects elsewhere in Europe. This means that it is of less importance where in Norway our technical employees lives as there is a high degree of travelling anyway.

The datacenter industry sound like "a men's world". We would be more than happy to add diversity into the business!

To do

• Inspect, test and diagnose functionality issues with electrical systems and components in a datacenter infrastructure

• Witness FAT, SAT and ISAT testing of equipment /system infrastructure

• Participate in and control energization and load tests

• Evaluate final infrastructure assets overall performance, reliability, and safety

• Report on functionality issues in our commissioning software tool CxPlanner

• Contribute ideas for improvement

• Perform document control and ensure correct document packages as required in a project

• Ensure that work is done in a manner that meets laws, regulations and standards applicable in the country where the building is located

Whom we are looking for

Currently we have available positions within cooling and electrical disciplines. It is preferable that you are capable to lake lead, and most likely you also enjoy working when the deadlines are short. You may have a project management background.  

Competence we would like you to have:

• You have education and professional certificate within one of the above-mentioned disciplines

• Most preferable you have also work experience within the disciplines and can refer to former employers

• High ability and flexibility to travelling and working away from home

• Clear and strong oral and written communication skills in English and Norwegian

• Takes HSE seriously and ensures responsibility for personal safety

• Have a high degree of accuracy in your work to ensure good quality in customer deliveries
