To support our journey, we are looking for more Conceptual Study Leads to join our team in our Stavanger Office. 

You will be part of a team that works primarily with early phase shaping and framing of business case opportunities within upstream field- and asset-development and utilization.

As a key member of the team, you will:

• Serve as a technical advisor and counterpart to critical decision-makers in client organizations, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and strategic objectives.

• Lead the execution of selected studies as a Study Manager, ensuring high-quality deliverables and effective project execution.

• Drive high-level technical discussions, ensuring the selection of optimal concepts that balance cost, risk, and long-term value creation.

• Facilitate and lead technical reviews, workshops, and multidisciplinary study teams to ensure robust decision-making.

• Advise on brownfield project complexities, identifying key risks, opportunities, and integration challenges.

• Support tender development, study execution, and technical report preparation to maintain high-quality deliverables.

• Work with others to continuously improve study methodologies, technical frameworks, and best practices to enhance project efficiency and innovation.

What expertise you will bring to the team:

• 10 years of experience in upstream and energy industries, with expertise in concept development and early-phase studies.

• A strategic mindset with the ability to translate technical insights into high-level business recommendations.

• Experience in leading and advising multidisciplinary teams, ensuring integrated and holistic technical solutions.

• Good understanding of brownfield project challenges, risks, and optimization opportunities.

• Ability to conduct high-level technical reviews and workshops, facilitating critical decision-making.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership and influence key project directions.

• Experience with the full project lifecycle, ideally including operations, providing a well-rounded perspective on long-term project viability.

• A proactive and solutions-oriented approach, constantly seeking ways to enhance technical strategies and study execution.
