To support our journey, we are looking for a Strategic Portfolio Manager to join our team in our Stavanger Office.   

You will be part of a team that works primarily with early phase shaping and framing of business case opportunities within upstream field- and asset-development and utilization. 

As a key member of the team, you will:

• Oversee a portfolio of early-phase techno-economic studies for major oil and gas clients, ensuring strategic alignment and value creation.

• Act as a strategic PMO, providing high-level guidance, tracking progress, and optimizing project execution within a large frame agreement.

• Manage timelines, financials, and key deliverables to ensure studies are completed on schedule and within budget.

• Collaborate closely with the head of the Stavanger office to build and scale the organization, including resource planning and business development.

• Drive change management initiatives by guiding engineers in their transformation into technical advisors, ensuring a shift towards strategic client engagement.

• Liaise with internal stakeholders across various business units to foster collaboration and leverage cross-functional expertise.

• Ensure that all project proposals and executed studies meet client expectations and align with their long-term strategic goals.

• Identify and implementing continuous improvements in project execution, governance, and client service.

What expertise you will bring to the team:

• Experience in management consulting or a strategic advisory role, with the ability to translate technical expertise into high-level client strategies or substantial experience from upstream O&G working in strategic roles.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior clients, engineers, and internal leadership.

• A strategic mindset, with a focus on scaling and growing the business organically while ensuring long-term client success.

• Strong financial and project management skills, with the ability to oversee budgets, timelines, and resource allocation effectively.

• Change management experience, with a track record of coaching technical teams through transformation initiatives.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts in a clear and strategic manner.

• A proactive and solution-oriented approach, continuously seeking ways to improve processes, efficiency, and client outcomes.

• Experience within process engineering is an advantage, but not a requirement
