System Engineers are needed for space adventures!

Our antennas are located all over the globe - giving our customers a whole universe of possibilities. They can explore Mars, monitor the rainforest and improve their general understanding of space and Earth.

And the best thing? We now want to invite you to become part of this adventure! With the expansion of our services and projected future growth we want to invite more system engineers on board. As a system engineer, we hope you can contribute to the technical design, integration and maintenance of systems for satellite communication throughout their lifecycle. This includes improving systems for automation and control, supporting satellite launches and configuring baseband equipment. You will be a part of a highly competent team responsible for a broad range of technical disciplines with a strong operational focus.

Key Responsibilities

• To handle operational incidents to ensure world leading performance for our customers.

• To see connections, improvements and automation possibilities behind operational incidents.

• To develop, shape and integrate new infrastructure and architecture in cross functional teams.

• To automate and improve our services (Ansible, Terraform)

• To travel to install and refresh components linked to our global antenna network when it is needed (occasional travel, not significant)

• To use and develop cloud based infrastructure

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in engineering, technology or similar fields.

• Proficiency in Norwegian and English, as you will be working with people who speak another language than yourself.

Desirable Skills:

• System engineering

• Automation and control

• Infrastructure as code

• RF communication

• Scripting and programming

• Kubernetes or similar platforms

• Cloud based services

• Data analytics

• Network-based solutions
