As a part of VIKING Headquarter function, we are currently seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager Offshore to join our high-performing team in Arendal, Norway to secure our continued success in delivering quality products and services to the Offshore segment.
As a Sales Manager specializing in the Offshore sector, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through strategic sales initiatives, relationship-building, and effective collaboration with key stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and secure new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients within the Offshore industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Offshore sector.
Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in Offshore organizations.
Navigate and successfully engage in public procurement processes and develop a comprehensive understanding of procurement regulations and compliance standards.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations.
Ensure proposals align with client requirements and address their specific challenges.
Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms for both the company and clients. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and contractual obligations.
Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
Track and analyze sales performance against targets.
Your background
To be successful in this position, you have experience from a similar position, and a relevant educational background. You have very good communication skills, and we expect you to be proactive, dynamic and results oriented with the ability to create strong cross-functional collaborations - both internally and externally.
The prerequisites for success in the position are:
You have a bachelor's or master's degree in business, technical, or a related field. Operative experience in the Offshore sector can compensate for formal education.
You have some years of successful sales experience, preferably towards the Offshore sector, demonstrating a track record of exceeding sales targets.
It is a plus that you have proven experience in tender processes, and familiarity with procurement regulations and compliance standards within the Offshore sector.
