This role focuses on testing and verification of power, control, and monitoring electronics, and is a great fit for candidates with an interest in electronic systems and early-career engineers eager to grow in a multidisciplinary setting. We are currently hiring both early-career Test Engineers and experienced Senior Test Engineers.
As part of the Electronics Product Team, you will work across a broad technology spectrum that includes Subsea and Topside Electronic Modules, motor drives, battery systems, power supplies, safety-critical components, computers, and communication technologies. These platforms support the electrification of subsea systems and the integration of renewable energy sources such as offshore wind, hydrogen, and wave energy.
You will be involved in:
-
Creating test procedures and writing test reports for functional, environmental, and system operation testing of custom electronic designs
-
Building and automating test setups for components such as power supplies, CPU/MCU boards, power line modems, backplanes, motor controllers, battery controllers, chargers, and IO modules
-
Conducting environmental testing with temperature and mechanical exposure stress
-
Performing qualification testing of electronics according to API 17F standards for Subsea Control Systems
-
Collaborating with developers to ensure Design for Test (DFT) requirements are integrated into product designs
-
Supporting reliability assessments through accelerated life testing (ALT)
-
Analyzing failures in engineering, production, and field operation to improve product design and test coverage
To thrive in this role, you should have a BSc degree or vocational technical background in electronics, automation, or similar disciplines. A structured problem-solving approach, good collaboration skills, curiosity, and a strong interest in electronics are highly valued. You must be fluent in professional English and enjoy working in an international and multicultural environment.
We offer the opportunity to be part of a leading-edge team developing the next generation of subsea control systems, with the potential for long-term involvement and further professional growth.
