Vice President Business Unit Offshore

The position will be responsible for all Vard Electro Offshore projects, and shall ensure the safe, efficient, and effective management of the Business Unit.

Business Unit Offshore is under establishment, and the position will be reporting to General Manager and be part of the Management Team in Vard Electro.

Duties and responsibilities

• Overall responsibility of project management process as well as the department capability and capacity, including Project Planning.
• Implement Project Management Strategy in line with the Company's overall strategy.
  
• Responsibility of quality in project execution and development of market leading project execution capabilities.
• Work with Vard Group to develop integrated Project Execution capability.
• Implementation and improvement of strategies within Electrical Installation department and Project Management Organization for BU Offshore
• Define, develop, and improve the performance for the quality and cost of the department.
• Act as interface to VARD Group leadership team regarding VARD Projects.
  
• Responsibility for management of services and budget assignments with other internal functions and responsibility for the achieved performances.
• Accountable for following up HSE within the department area of responsibility. Be a role model, inspire and take initiative to foster a culture of trust and engagement among employees.
• Responsible for the Quality routines within the department.

Qualifications

• 5 + years experience in a managerial role
• Relevant higher education or other relevant experience
• Current working knowledge of the industry
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and experience related to the accountability and tasks
• Good knowledge of English, oral and written
• Good cultural understanding
