Jefferson Wells is looking for a structured and motivated candidate for an exciting assignment with our client located in Kongsberg. To succeed in this role, it is essential that you are comfortable communicating fluently in both Norwegian and English. Experience with AutoCAD is considered an advantage, but not a requirement. The position is open to both recent graduates and experienced professionals.

Tasks and Responsibilities

As a Technical Writer/Project Engineer, you will be part of the Production Solutions Team. Your main tasks will include:

• Reviewing supplier documentation to ensure compliance with purchase specifications

• Preparing project technical documentation such as Instrument/Electrical/Mechanical Data Sheets, Indexes, IOMs, Spare parts lists, Calibration reports, etc.

• Submitting technical documentation to the customer

• Collaborating closely with Project Engineers and Project Managers

• Supporting documentation flow and quality throughout the project lifecycle

Background and Qualifications

• BSc in engineering or technical education, preferably in instrumentation or a related field. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education

• Good communication and collaboration skills, both in Norwegian and English

• Familiarity with MS Office is required; experience with AutoCAD is a plus

• Background from Oil and Gas projects is advantageous

• You are a quick learner, proactive and eager to develop in a technical environment

• The position requires daily presence at the office in Kongsberg
