Accounting & Financial Oversight

• Manage the accounts for our Norwegian subsidiaries, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Conduct thorough analytical reviews of financial data to identify discrepancies or errors
• Oversee supplier payments, ensuring all payments are processed on time and keep track of customer payments
• Ensure accurate reporting for auditing purposes, focusing on Norwegian regulatory standards

Process Improvement & Automation

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes in Netsuite and internal controls
• Identify opportunities for process automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual work

Collaboration & Project Ownership

• Work closely with the Head of Accounting and Financial Controller to ensure smooth financial operations
• Take ownership of specific financial projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with company goals

Audit & Compliance

• Lead the audit processes for the Norwegian subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with local laws and international standards
• Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and tax requirements to ensure compliance at all times

• Experience in Accounting, with a demonstrated ability to analyze financial data
• Experience with cloud-based accounting systems
• Strong understanding of Norwegian accounting and tax regulations
• A process-driven mindset with experience in identifying areas for improvement and automation
• Ability to work independently and drive your own initiatives
• Open to change and motivated by continuous improvement
• Fluency in Norwegian and English
• Education in Finance, Accounting or a related field is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

I’m Danjal, the Chief Financial Officer for Simployer and overall responsible for our teams within Accounting, Controlling & Analytics, IT and Strategy & M&A. We are looking to build the finance function of the future, with a high degree of automation and focus on driving profitable growth across Simployer. The Accounting Manager role is critical in that regard, through providing accurate and timely historical figures and ensuring smooth operation across various processes. 1. Intro Chat: A quick conversation with our recruiter to get to know you and for you to learn about us and the role (approx. 30 minutes)
