Senior Engineer - Automation Network engineering

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to strengthen our Automation and OT Cybersecurity department in Asker. As a Senior Engineer, you will contribute to Aibel’s exciting journey in the ongoing energy transition. Our portfolio covers manned and unmanned Oil and Gas topsides, High Voltage substations (HVAC or HVDC), electrification and other industry projects.
About the position
Aibel's Automation engineers design and specify automation systems solutions and strategies for projects in concept, study and detail phases. You will develop network philosophies & solutions to the required level of detail, as well as developing strategies, philosophies and secure design solutions for remote operation and remote diagnostics.
Responsibilities and tasks include
Depending on project, typical tasks will be:
Develop design philosophies and strategies for Automation networks and data flow.
Develop Automation Topologies/Architecture and other relevant documentation of network design
Follow-up of suppliers wrt network design and OT cybersecurity
Participate in test activities wrt network design
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within relevant field
Minimum 5 years’ experience from automation engineering in green field projects on the Norwegian continental shelf.
Minimum 5 years’ Experience from automation and SAS network design activities and reviews
Experience with Industrial network protocols.
Minimum 3 years’ experience with following IEC 62443 for security in Operational Technology in Industrial Automation and control systems

A natural team player, but possess the ability to work independently
Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
