Experienced Commissioning Planner?

Job Description
 

• Part of the Project Controls Team, reporting to the Project Controls Manager.

• Key role within the Commissioning Team, supporting the Commissioning Manager.

• Responsible for establishing and maintaining processes, systems, and resources for FPSO commissioning planning.

• Ensures alignment with Yard Construction planners for interface activities across disciplines.

• Coordinates Commissioning activities with the Integrated Project Schedule.

• Manages and monitors the integrated Project schedule and ensures timely execution.

• Ensures the completion system (PIMS) contains necessary data for system and sub-system testing.

• Leads Commissioning planning, progress reporting, and milestone definition.

• Performs schedule analysis, progress measurement, baseline updates, and contractor verification.

• Ensures compliance with project requirements, contracts, and regulations.

• Works closely with PDE operations, JV Yard organization, Altera Construction Team, and Client.

• Reports progress delays to the Commissioning Manager.

 

Qualification Requirements

 

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

• 15+ years of experience as a Commissioning Planner in large development projects.

• Strong experience in FPSO redeployment (preferred).

• Extensive knowledge of Construction and MC activities from both Contractor and Client perspectives.

• Proficiency in Primavera planning software.

• Experience with Client Completion philosophy is an advantage.

• Previous experience with UK North Sea projects is beneficial.

• Leadership and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience working in Middle East/Southeast Asian shipyards is an advantage.

• Organized, systematic, and flexible approach to work.

• Fluent in English (written & verbal).
