Project Engineer or Project Designer – Join a global leader in subsea technologies

Jefferson Wells is looking for 1–2 Project Engineers or one experienced Project Designer on behalf of our client in Kongsberg. A solid background in oil and gas equipment—particularly in Workover Riser, Well Control, or similar—is essential. For the designer role, experience with NX and well control equipment is a key requirement.

You will be joining a multicultural and collaborative team within a global organization delivering critical subsea projects worldwide. The CWOR (Completion and Workover Riser) team provides products and services to external customers and internal service departments, and is part of the Installation & Intervention group. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with field development, tenders, project delivery, product development, and life of field services.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Create and manage parts and DBI’s, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and product documentation

• Develop user documentation, test procedures, and procedures for assembly/disassembly

• Support recertification activities and prepare associated documentation

• Contribute to Product Structure Management (PSM), Technical Holding Instructions (THIs), and other engineering deliverables

• Interface with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure accurate and timely documentation

Background and Qualifications

• Educational background in mechanical engineering or related fields

• Industry experience from oil and gas, preferably with Workover Risers, Well Control Packages (WCP), or EDP systems

• Familiarity with XT equipment or tooling is beneficial

• For the Designer position: Proven experience with Siemens NX within Oil & Gas related well control equipment is required

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to operate in a global, multicultural environment
