As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner, NES Advantage is now looking for a: PRE Electro Engineer with experience of onshore / offshore projects.

Aker Solutions delivers integrated solutions, products and services to the global energy industry. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries. Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

• Preparation of inquiry documents including package specification and datasheet for electrical equipment: High voltage switchgear, High voltage transformer, 690V switchboard, UPS, Low voltage transformer, 400/230V distribution board.

• Performing bid evaluations

• Participating in Bid Clarification Meetings (BCM)

• Review and quality assurance of supplier documentation

• Updating and giving input to the engineering database

• Attending FAT

• Contributing to design philosophy and development in EPC phase

Qualifications we think you should have:

• Master or Bachelor in relevant Electrical engineering subjects

• At least 7 years’ documented Electrical engineering experience for onshore /offshore EPC/EPMA projects

• Demonstrated product management experience for large equipment/packages in Oil and Gas industry. Experience with supplier follow up

• Familiar with IEC and relevant standards

• Fluent in English, both verbal and written

• The ability to work in a team across disciplines

• Ability to execute and take responsibility for the projects you are involved in a solution-orientated approach with a strong technical interest

• Software Skills: Microsoft office tools

Work location: Fornebu (Oslo), Norway
Contract duration: 30.06.2026 with option for extensions
