Project Manager - InterMoor

InterMoor are looking to hire a Project Manager on a full time, permanent basis. Based at their facility in Stavanger, the purpose of this position is to manage and effectively coordinate all sales and rental projects for InterMoor (IM) so that these are out in a planned, secure, and efficient manner. Manage project planning and execution process, coordinate between departments and roles internally in organisation so as the projects from IM are delivered at a high standard internally as well as externally. Provide support so that project documentation is effectively processed and the basis for invoicing emerges without unnecessary delay. Build strong customer relationships, support Marketing department within sales and marketing and assist in developing business strategies and plans.
Duties & Main Responsibilities
•Develop cost estimates/quotes for customer and establish PO for all work to be performed
•Build strong customer relationships
•Perform customer meetings and ensure IM meet customer expectations
•Participate in sales and tendering work, closely work together with and support marketing
•Responsible for all planning of sales and project work/execution
•Allocate projects to organisation and establish correct priority list
•Maintain project overview
•Support project managers as required
•Monitor that projects are executed in a safe and efficient way and that documentation are derived and handled efficient
•Continuous work on improving work processes
•Secure an efficient invoicing process and continuously improve the workflow process
•Provide input for Asset Management, need for CAPEX
•Provide input to ROFO, company budgeting
•Participate in the company's safety work
•Contribute to compliance with the company's QHSE system
•Report and process deviations and improvements suggestions
•Ensure Lean principles are well integrated in the daily business activities
•Contribute to good communications between the business units
•Set objectives for all direct Supervises to achieve Area goals with technical integrity, service quality and profitable growth
•Follow up training and competency requirements for own team. Register progress and competency in training portal for alle team members
•Use company system proactively for all processes withing area of responsibility, APP, NAV, iPortal and SharePoint
Required
•Batchelor degree within marine operations, relevant experience can compensate for education
•At least 6 years of industry experience or company from within similar industry
•Good IT skills, Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook etc.
•Ability to create team feeling and progress, leading team by example
•Good planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills
•Experienced within data systems
•Good level of communication skills both written and spoken format – Norwegian and English
•A pro-active self-starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team
•Be able to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines
•Independent and focused with the ability to use own initiative and work unsupervised
•Be able to think creatively and strategically and to successfully mediate and negotiate with individuals and groups internally and externally
•Flexible in working hours
•Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company/customer HSE handbooks, HSE procedures and emergency procedures
•Ensure that work is conducted in compliance with Company Policies and Quality Management System
•Actively ensure that his/her own health & safety and the health & safety of all fellow workers or other workers is always preserved
