Senior Cybersecurity Consultant

As part of Jotun's IT department and the Global Cybersecurity department, you will work with skilled colleagues that focus on protecting Jotun business processes, information, and assets. 
 
There will be great traveling opportunities in this position, and our workplace is in Jotun's brand new international headquarters in Sandefjord, Norway. 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your deep understanding of IT operations and cybersecurity to provide expert guidance and solutions to our company. You will be responsible for assessing, designing, implementing, and managing robust security architectures, with a strong focus on cloud security, particularly within the Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Entra ID ecosystems. 

Main Responsibilities: 

• Cybersecurity Consulting: Provide expert advice and guidance on cybersecurity best practices, risk assessments, vulnerability management, incident response within all digital services in Jotun. 

• Cloud Security Expertise: Design, implement, and manage security solutions within Microsoft Azure, including Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Defender. 

• Microsoft Entra ID Management: Implement and manage secure identity and access management solutions using Microsoft Entra ID, including conditional access, multi-factor authentication, and privileged access management. 

• Cybersecurity Incidents: Follow up, analyze and solve cybersecurity incidents in our global ITSM. 

• Cybersecurity Projects: Support ongoing projects with cybersecurity competence and expertise. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in cyber security, computer science or information technology 

• Good understanding and knowledge of the cyber security field 

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity/IT operations. 

• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure security services and Microsoft Entra ID 

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 

• Fluency in English. Our work-language is English.
