Do you want to contribute as a key member of our Commercial Team?
We are expanding the team and are looking for a team-oriented Tender Manager with a can-do attitude who wants to join a fun, fast-paced and professional working environment!
Working in the commercial department, you will be at the hub of DeepOcean’s operations, getting to know our operational framework within technical, commercial and contractual disciplines as well as taking part in business decisions and lead tender teams for the various tenders at hand.
Duties and Responsibilities
Overall responsible for specific pre-qualifications and tenders, to ensure that they are in accordance with the client requirement/expectations in order to secure a successful outcome.
Manage the tender team and delegate responsibilities for tender input in the organization.
Ensure that technical, commercial, and contractual offerings are sound and in accordance with our procedure as well as reflecting the risk level of the tendered projec.
Identify differentiators, winning criteria and promote “outside the box” thinking to enhance chance of winning the work. Liaise closely with technical team on these aspects.
Provide recommendation based on strategy, pricing level, risk and present same to representatives of senior management in tender board.
Participate in clarification meetings and contract negotiations with customers.
Conduct handover with project team and follow up/support during project execution to ensure feedback/LL and develop opportunities that may arise during project execution.
Foster a culture of commercial mindset, risk mitigation and optimization of opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor/master’s degree in relevant engineering/management discipline - Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
Preferably 5-10 years’ experience in Tender/Project/Contract Management.
Relevant experience within Oil & Gas & Renewables sector.
Personal Qualifications
Strong commercial mindset.
Strong management and motivational skills.
Strong co-ordination, organisational and liaison skills with the ability to seek and gain consensus solutions to business issues and challenges.
Ability to effectively negotiate/communicate, along with a professional standard of written and spoken English.
Possess an eye for detail with an ability to produce work of a high standard and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
