We are now seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Project Purchaser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, extensive experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, and exceptional skills in supplier relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for project procurement activities in ongoing and new projects, from quotation to invoice settlement.

• Close collaboration with our Project and Engineering business area.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

• Conduct risk analysis and manage risk mitigation strategies.

• Ensure adherence to Quality assurance, Health, Security, and Environment (QHSE) standards.

• Act as the Manager's deputy when needed.

• Support in implementing Global Standard, Procedures, Guidelines, and Templates.

• Lead assigned improvement projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant discipline or documented extensive experience in the field.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas industry with Supply Chain Management (SCM).

• Strong commercial mindset

• Strong understanding of operating in an international business environment.

• In-depth knowledge of the supplier market and offshore drilling/oil industry.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Proficiency in IT tools and systems within the area of responsibility.

• Fluent in English, both written and oral, with excellent presentation skills.

• Good stakeholder management skills.

• Knowledge of oil industry contract terms and conditions, guarantees, and liquidated damages.
