We are now seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Project Purchaser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, extensive experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, and exceptional skills in supplier relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for project procurement activities in ongoing and new projects, from quotation to invoice settlement.
Close collaboration with our Project and Engineering business area.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
Conduct risk analysis and manage risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure adherence to Quality assurance, Health, Security, and Environment (QHSE) standards.
Act as the Manager's deputy when needed.
Support in implementing Global Standard, Procedures, Guidelines, and Templates.
Lead assigned improvement projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant discipline or documented extensive experience in the field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas industry with Supply Chain Management (SCM).
Strong commercial mindset
Strong understanding of operating in an international business environment.
In-depth knowledge of the supplier market and offshore drilling/oil industry.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Proficiency in IT tools and systems within the area of responsibility.
Fluent in English, both written and oral, with excellent presentation skills.
Good stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of oil industry contract terms and conditions, guarantees, and liquidated damages.
