Everzinc Norway AS is looking for a controller for its finance department in Larvik

We are seeking a Controller to enhance our Finance organization in Larvik. You will play a pivotal part in our experienced finance team with a genuine chance to make a significant impact. This position reports directly to the Finance Manager.

Main responsibilites:

·         Be an integral part of the month- and year-end accounting and reporting cycles

·         Various accounting tasks within the finance department

·         Develop the collection and processing of financial data

·         Monitor the cost and cash flow development

·         Provide monthly budget follow-ups with department managers

·         Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and ad-hoc reports

·         Ensure compliance with IFRS and the Norwegian Accounting Act

·         Collaborate with external accounting firm and auditor

·         Ad hoc analysis and reporting

Desired qualifications and background:

·         Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Auditing or similar

·         2-5 years of relevant experience from audit, accounting advisory services, financial controlling or similar

·         Experience and knowledge of IFRS and general accounting principles. Strong interest for IFRS can compensate for lack of practical experience

·         Interest for and strong skills in Excel and ERP-systems; preferably SAP

·         Knowledge of Power BI and consolidation tools is an advantage

·         Strong communication skills and fluent in English
