About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer at Aragon, you will be part of our highly skilled engineering team that delivers a diverse range of projects, from early-phase concept and FEED studies to turnkey, complex process modules and systems. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrical Engineer with experience in power generation systems, high and low voltage system design, and electrical equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong focus on electrical design and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Role & Responsibility
Perform electrical design and engineering to establish the most efficient solutions from early phase development, design and manufacture, through to installation and operation.
Take the role as electrical lead in projects.
Responsible for the engineering documentation from the electrical discipline, delivered within budget and deadlines in all phases of a project.
Develop and review electrical philosophies and specifications.
Specify and size electrical power generation systems including transformers, filter, switchboards, starters and local grids.
Specify and size electrical heaters and motors as drives for rotating equipment.
Select applicable electrolyser for hydrogen production, fuel cells for electricity production and batteries for energy storage.
Be innovative and find solutions for overall energy optimisations and storage both for renewable projects and for CO2 reductions in oil and gas projects..
Perform package follow-up of equipment suppliers.
Develop and perform quality checks of all types of electrical deliverables, such as datasheets, calculations, technical reports as study/FEED reports, system description etc.
Coordinate with other disciplines and contribute to efficient overall project execution to the right quality, cost and time.
Take an electrical specialist role towards our clients.
Contribute to the development of methodology, tools and competency within the Electrical Department.
Qualifications
Relevant Master's or Bachelor’s degree.
Work experience with power generation systems, high and low voltage system design as well as electrical equipment for offshore installations.
Show relevant experience from engineering, vendor follow-up, or manufacturing, of electrical equipment from the oil & gas industry, renewable-energy industry, or other relevant processing industry.
Solution oriented and ability to take technical leadership.
Experience from working in multidiscipline teams and handling interfaces.
A commercial mindset.
Good technical knowledge and understanding of electrical equipment.
Strong work ethics and a proactive attitude.
Knowledge and understanding to the electrical industry market.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience with direct communication with clients and vendors.
Fluent verbal and written English.
Flexibility to travel and to work across other locations.
