About the role
Norrøna is seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Team & Event Responsible to join our Marketing Department for a one-year temporary position. This role is essential in managing our ambassador program, organizing festivals, and planning events across our main stores and markets. As the Team & Event Responsible, you will be instrumental in creating impactful and memorable experiences for our customers and ambassadors. You will ensure that our brand message resonates throughout the outdoor community, fostering engagement and driving sales. Your role will involve maintaining and growing relationships with ambassadors and partners while executing events that enhance Norrøna’s presence in key markets.
Main responsibilities
Ambassador program and partners
- Oversee and maintain relationships with brand ambassadors, ensuring they align with Norrøna’s core values
- Coordinate ambassador outreach, onboarding, and performance tracking
- Foster and develop relationships with partners who share our brand vision
- Assist in identifying new ambassadors and partners who embody the Norrøna spirit
- Collaborate closely with our Social Media Responsible and in-house photographers to ensure ambassador exposure and strategic planning
Event and festivals
- Develop a seasonal event plan for all our main stores and key markets, aligning with Norrøna’s marketing strategy
- Organize all events in coordination with our Retail Store Managers
- Organize and execute our festivals: Ice, Freeride, Trail Running and Mountain Bike Festival
- Organize and execute local events, including:
- Workshops
- Product launches
- Ambassador presentations
- Activity events like trail running and after-work mountain biking
- Post and track events on the Norrøna website
- Coordinate store opening events to generate excitement, drive foot traffic, and enhance brand awareness
- Provide seasonal reports on event performance and effectiveness
- Work closely with Social Media Responsible to ensure strong promotional campaigns
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop materials and strategies for events
- Support social media and content creation related to events and ambassador activities

- Experienced in marketing and event coordination, with a solid understanding of brand engagement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or a related field
- Proven experience in event coordination, project management, or a similar role
- Strong passion for outdoor activities, including freeride skiing, trail running, mountain biking, hiking, and general mountaineering
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively
- Ability to multitask and prioritize, managing multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/Google Suite and familiarity with event management software
- Flexibility to travel for events and work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
- Resilient under pressure, able to manage high workloads during peak event seasons
