Job responsibilities:

The Commissioning System Responsible for Electrical systems is responsible for the planning, execution and supervision of Completion and Commissioning activities for designated systems related to the delivery and integration of the Munin platform and is considered the overall responsible for designated systems Munin. The System Responsible will also assist in ensuring the Project Team deliver in accordance with BMS and project mandate given by the Asset Management Team.

•    Execute commissioning activities according to defined procedures and plans for system:

    o    82: Power system

    o    85: Batteri and No Break System

•    Coordinate commissioning ATS for vendors of electrical equipment

•    Maintain FSE for System 82 and 85 during commissioning

•    Execute discipline commissioning for utility and process systems

•    Able to work independently to plan and execute MC follow-up and commissioning activities.

•    Coordinate field commissioning activities within the disciplines and ensure safe and efficient start up of facilities and systems

•    Execute the procedures and checklists according to project requirements, standards and regulations

•    Ensure all commissioning activities are carried out in compliance with HSE requirements and quality standards

•    Collaborate with project engineers, construction team, operations and other disciplines leads to ensure integrated and coordinated start up

•    Monitor and report progress, identify and resolve technical issues during the commissioning phase

•    Document and verify test results to ensure all systems operate according to specifications before handover to operations

Your experience and qualifications:

•    MSc. or BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.

•    Experience from NORSOK projects.

•    System-based commissioning knowledge and understanding

•    Track record of delivery in the Oil & Gas industry for the Norwegian Continental Shelf and able to demonstrate effective system commissioning skills are a major advantage

•    Familiarity with Project Completions Systems and document management systems. Experience with PIMS is an advantage.

•    Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning engineers & technicians to achieve timely execution of commissioning activities

•    Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

•    Self-motivated with a willingness to learn from others and work with minimum direction.

•    Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

•    Actively seeks out expertise and best practice, related to own area of contribution.

•    Willingly takes the lead when challenges arise.

•    Actively promotes open and effective communication.

•    Strong planning and organizing ability.

•    Builds networks to enhance effectiveness and share knowledge.

•    Looks for ways to do things better, faster, more efficiently according to LEAN principles.

•    Focuses effort and prioritizes work to deliver business value.

•    Good knowledge of the English and Norwegian languages (both written and verbal).

•    Use SAFER as an inspiration / follower in daily work

Job Specifications: 

The application deadline for this position is ASAP, but we will also consider candidates for similar or other relevant positions consecutively.

This position is fully mobile with base location Haugesund. Sporadic offshore trips can be expected.
