MazeMap is offering an exciting role for a proactive, outgoing and self-driven person to join our team as a Sales Development Representative in our Trondheim office.
This is a role where you will reach out to our stakeholders internationally, have the opportunity to grow with the company, and help make an impact that is seen by our clients, partners, users and our employees.
MazeMap is a Norwegian indoor map and navigation scale-up aiming to be a global leader in a rapidly growing market. We target large building complexes such as universities, hospitals, offices and hotels. We are already well on the way with fantastic user uptake, customers across all continents and being recognized as market leader by analysts. With our service, we help millions of users find what they are looking for thus reducing stress, uncertainty, and saving time. In order to tackle this rapidly growing market, we need a SDR to help make the first step in the sales process in order to make us as efficient as possible.
The opportunity
We want to help users find what they are looking for- either being a classroom for lectures, the place for their hospital appointments or the closest available meeting room. Several hundred customers in Europe, APAC and USA have already deployed and appreciate the MazeMap solution. After a quiet period with campuses and offices being closed, we are now seeing a spike in interest in planning for return to office and campus. Your challenge would be to identify good prospects using different tools and data mining, and to be the impressionable first contact so that you hold their interests. You know how to customize your initial pitch to capture attention, and are unafraid to build new relationships with people online or off.
The work location is in Trondheim, so we prefer that you already live and can work in Norway.
You would
- Conduct introductory presentations to potential clients
- Support on sales activities globally
- Be proactive and unafraid to pick up the phone to start a conversation
- After some training be able to do introductory presentations
- Respond to enquiries coming in and follow up on promising ones
- Know when to involve the correct team member in order to further a prospect
Your profile
- Willingness to work with different and international cultures
- Familiar or experienced with data mining in order to increase leads in sales (prospecting)
- Know how to find the correct person to initiate a conversation
- Fluent in English and at least one Scandinavian language
- Self-driven, full of initiative and energy
- Eager to learn, especially about new technologies
