Janus seeks new CFO

Janusfabrikken seeks a new CFO to support the company in its next phase of growth. Janus is part of the Monte Rosa Sport Group, which also includes the brands Odlo and Henri-Lloyd. As CFO, you will report to the CFO of Monte Rosa Sport and CEO of Janus, while working closely with the owners of Monte Rosa Sport.

In this position, you will partner with the Janus leadership team to drive financial analytics, production and product costing KPIs and reporting to produce key business insights. You will also partner with the Global Accounting team at Monte Rosa Sport to lead the monthly close process and yearly audit process for Janus related entities in the Group structure.

Furthermore, you will help apply and implement these production best practice learnings across the Group portfolio, both from a financial and production perspective. The position is located at the Janus factory outside Bergen, however, location in Oslo could be considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Janus accounting team

• Develop and implement the overall financial strategy in line with the company and Group’s vision and targets

• Financial close and reporting to the Group, Board of Directors and owners

• Audit process for all companies in the Janus structure

• Coordinate financial aspects of production reporting and optimization in close collaboration with the local and Group production teams

• Assist sales and production teams on product unit costing and price setting

• Develop budget, liquidity plan and forecasts, and the continuous monitoring and updates of those • Follow-up and reporting to the company’s banking connections

• Ongoing reporting to relevant government entities and authorities

• Work with the owner and Group to execute potential brand acquisition add-ons

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of finance experience, preferably with an understanding of production

• Relevant audit, accounting or financial analysis work history

• Degree in Business Administration or Finance/Controlling

• Strong business insight, analytical and conceptual skills

• Proactive attitude

• Fluent in English and Norwegian

• Solid Excel skills

• Strong IT knowledge, and experience with systems such as LucaNet, Power BI, etc.
