Swire Energy Services has been in the Oil & Energy industry since 1979 and is now proudly the largest aviation services provider to the industry. We design, build and deliver Helifuel Refuelling Systems (HRS), Helideck Monitoring & Environmental Monitoring System (HMS & EMS) and our best-in-class systems are exported globally from our central aviation hubs in Aberdeen, Scotland & Sveio, Norway.
Our suite of HRS & Helideck services offers our clients an end-to-end aviation compliance service offering with over 20 trained (and counting) offshore technicians travelling globally to conduct inspections.
We now have an open position as a Commercial Manager where the role will be a part of our senior managent team for Aviation Services.
The office location for the role would preferably be at our offices in Sveio, but it could also be at our offices in Tananger.
The role
This is a unique opportunity for someone to join a fast-growing service line that has a strategic goal allowing its people to thrive and succeed.
In conjunction with the other members of the Aviation Services senior management team the role will lead the efficient running of the OpCo in compliance with legislation, the organisation’s core values and the agreed strategic plans and objectives.
In addition the role will be responsible for the ongoing development of the Commercial team, focusing on delivery of account growth plans and business development in line with annual financial targets.
Further responsibilities would be to:
- To develop and implement a commercial strategy that grows SES’ market share in the Aviation Services segment in line with the Company’s global strategic goals
- To create strong relationships with senior level contacts with both our key customers, target accounts and relevant associated businesses
- To effectively manage existing account managers to ensure retention of market share and delivery of targeted growth through existing/new account strategioc development.
- To effectively manage Commercial Team to ensure effective management of enquires and collection/delivery of equipment.
- To work with Business Development Managers (BDM) to develop a list of target accounts and implementation of agreed sales plan to increase market share.
- To develop and implement a commercial strategy that grows SES’ market share in Aviation Services
- To manage new product development programmes and associated marketing, launch and sales activities
- Work closely with Operations Management to plan future requirements
- Develop and deliver annual revenue budget as well as quarterly forecast adjustments as required
- OpCo owner of contractual reviews and pricing development
- To ensure the company is legally compliant in all aspects of its business activities
Who we’re looking for:
- You have a typical commercial mindset and always have the customer on top your mind
- You have preferably experience from the offshore or marine environment
- You are a strong communicator and influencer in order to successfully close opportunities
- You are good at developing professional relationships with clients (both internal and external)
- You have a good skillset when it comes to writing emails and using Microsoft applications like Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- You are willing to travel
