Now we are looking for a new Department Manager to lead and further grow our Integration department, both in size and market impact. As Department Manager, you will lead a growing team of about 25+ consultants across 3 teams and 3 locations, and provide both strategic planning, financial oversight, and supportive team leadership.
You key contributions :
- Customer Collaboration: Actively engage with customers to ensure high-quality project deliveries and overall satisfaction. By identifying challenges and opportunities, you will help drive successful outcomes.
- Strategic Alignment: Aligning with Cegal's overall strategy and business goals, you will play a crucial role in shaping the direction of the integration department. This involves understanding market trends, identifying opportunities, and contributing to sales processes.
- Team Leadership: Lead a talented team of 25+ consultants, potentially including Team Leads. Your responsibilities extend beyond day-to-day management; you will create clear career development plans for team members and foster a positive work environment.
- Integration Focus: Drive and develop a professional environment centered around integration technologies.
- Financial Management: You will oversee the department's profit and loss (P&L) by planning budgets, monitoring forecasts, and ensuring collaboration across teams. Your focus will be on achieving results while maintaining financial health.
- Talent Acquisition and Utilization: Grow the team by strategically acquiring new talent. Own the recruitment process and ensure optimal utilization of consultants to meet project demands effectively.
About you
We believe you have previous experience leading people, are passionate about technology; especially integrations, and have an understanding for what it requires to build a profitable organization.
- Sales Process Management: Your competency extends to managing sales processes. You create and execute growth plans, ensuring successful delivery of consulting services.
- Leadership Style: You believe in a relationship-oriented approach, emphasizing transparency and accountability. Leading by example, you encourage initiative and actively listen to your team. Your focus on strengths fosters a positive work environment.
- Employee Development: You have experience developing and coaching employees. Supporting their goal achievement and ensuring high engagement and satisfaction are integral to your leadership style.
- Multinational Team Leadership: With your experience, you are well-prepared to lead a diverse, multicultural team. You collaborate across professional units, business divisions, and even international borders to achieve our business objectives.
- Communication: Your interpersonal skills allows you to interact smoothly with a wide range of people and you communicate clearly in both Norwegian and English.
