Db is looking for a Chief Digital Officer to join our team!
About the job
Db has a strong digital footprint and our eCommerce is key to our success. As the Chief Digital Officer of Db Equipment, you are part of the Db management team with the ability to impact and shape our future global growth. You will lead a great team and be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive e-commerce strategy with initiatives to drive high brand awareness while also increasing online sales, customer engagement, and profitability. The position can be located in any of our offices, in Stockholm or Oslo.
What you are good at:
- E-Commerce Strategy: Develop and implement the company's global e-commerce strategy, aligning it with other global sales channels.
- Online Store Management: Oversee the management and optimization of the company's online stores, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience.
- Digital Marketing: Working closely with the brand marketing team for optimisation of the entire marketing funnel. Lead mid-low funnel digital marketing efforts and affiliate marketing, to drive online conversions.
- Product Listings: Ensure accurate and comprehensive product listings, pricing, and promotions on e-commerce platforms.
- Consumer Experience: Focus on enhancing the online experience, including consumer service, feedback, and support Db.
- Consumer Engagement: Engage the community to attract, engage and maintain loyal brand ambassadors.
- Payment Processing and Security: Oversee secure payment processing and data protection measures to ensure customer trust and compliance.
- User Analytics: Utilize e-commerce analytics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of online initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
- Marketplace Expansion: Explore and implement expansion into e-commerce marketplaces, if applicable.
- Budget Management: Manage the e-commerce department's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and resource allocation.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing e-commerce team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Executive Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to the CEO and executive team on e-commerce performance, forecasts, and strategies.
What we expect on your CV:
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Business, Digital Marketing or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in e-commerce leadership roles, preferably as a CDO or Director of e-Commerce.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce strategies including digital marketing, acquisition marketing and affiliate partnership, as well as and online retail management for a strong high-end brand
- Exceptional leadership, communication and team-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful e-commerce strategies.
- Data-driven decision-maker with excellent analytical abilities.
