Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Sales Manager for our Local Business Line Marine Service. The role will be responsible for planning and ensuring execution of local business line sales strategy and achieving our targets for our services in a profitable way. The role will further be responsible for leading, developing and coaching the Sales organization with focus on profitable growth and customer satisfaction.
Your main accountability will be:
- Create, plan, and implement the local sales strategy for the LBL, focusing on existing and new customers.
- Ensure a motivated, dedicated, and skilled Sales Team that is properly organized and staffed.
- Coach, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates, drive and ensure knowledge sharing and cross-collaboration.
- Establish sales targets and ensures sales achievement through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed
- Identify opportunities at existing and potential new customers within defined product offerings within LBL sales segments
- Support the development of strong relationships with new customers. Build and maintain a strong relationship with key decision makers.
- Identify and manage potential risks, including technical requirements, relating to contract agreements across customers/channels. Monitor client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams. Participate in contract- and risk reviews
- Have full ownership of the sales processes, and all relevant training and development plans, actions and programs.
Qualifications for the role
- We are searching for a dedicated Sales Manager with a wish to contribute building the future of maritime technology. You know the Maritime business and have a good network within the shipping industry. You have a bachelor- or master’s degree, experience with maritime electrical propulsion system will be an advantage. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal educational degrees.
- We believe that you are result oriented and that you like to take responsibility and ownership. You preferably have experience leading teams located around the world, and you are good at building relationships. You are open-minded and value different perspectives, and you aim for a world-class customer service.
- Fluency in English is a requirement, as well as cultural awareness and mutual respect - we have an international workplace and business where we have colleagues and customers from different backgrounds and nationalities.
