Product Designer - Management Solutions team

Munu is a fast-growing Norwegian technology company redefining the hospitality industry in the Nordics and soon across Europe. Our mission is to help businesses grow sales, improve efficiency, and simplify operations through the Munu Cloud Platform. This comprehensive suite of tools—including modules for Point of Sales, online ordering, booking, inventory management, and more —enables managers of bars, restaurants, cafés, and more to optimize their operations.

Since our start in 2016, we’ve grown to over 70 passionate food and tech enthusiasts, all driven to take Munu Cloud to the next level. As we continue to expand and meet growing demands, we need more talented product designers to help us innovate and elevate our platform. This is where you come in.

Role Responsibilities and Expectations

In close collaboration with other designers, developers, product managers, and industry experts, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the hospitality industry and its various segments.

As a Product Designer, you will:

• Drive product discovery activities across all stages of the development process
• Develop and communicate a compelling vision for the user journeys, while ensuring that the management solutions are aligned with the broader Munu ecosystem.
• Oversee the scope, planning, and design at all stages of the development process
• Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions with users, partners, and stakeholders

Joining the Management Solutions team, you will create innovative tools that empower restaurant managers to elevate their operations, attract and retain guests, manage staff efficiently, and optimize overall business performance.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in service design.
• Expertise in mapping out service processes and creating intuitive customer journeys.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and convincingly to diverse audiences.
• Experience working in an agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Experience designing for multiple interfaces (mobile, web, API) is a plus.
• Familiarity with the hospitality industry is a bonus, but a passion for solving complex problems and designing delightful experiences is a must.
