About the role

Nammo is seeking a dedicated Director Program Office to oversee product portfolio management, ensure seamless project delivery, and drive collaboration across teams at our Raufoss site. Reporting to the Site Manager, this role is integral to achieving our operational and strategic goals. You will work closely with product managers, leading their efforts to balance project demands and maintain product quality, while partnering with cross-functional teams such as R&D, operations, supply chain, planning, quality, and testing. Additionally, you will actively collaborate with senior leadership, clients, and key external stakeholders to ensure clear alignment of project objectives, address operational challenges, and maintain a shared understanding of expectations throughout the product lifecycle. This includes providing strategic updates and fostering strong partnerships that contribute to seamless project execution.

What you will be working with:

As Director Program Office, you will manage the full lifecycle of our products, ensuring successful delivery from initial offer to completion. 

Your key responsibilities include:

• 
  Product portfolio management: Oversee a diverse portfolio of products, ensuring consistent configuration, quality control, and alignment with operational objectives
• 
  Contract delivery: Lead the contract delivery process, ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines, and quality standards while addressing and mitigating risks proactively
• 
  Financial oversight: Manage departmental budgets, allocate resources effectively, and monitor expenditures to maintain profitability
• 
  Cross-functional collaboration: Facilitate strong cooperation between product managers and departments such as R&D, operations, quality, supply chain, and testing to ensure seamless project execution
• 
  Leadership and team development: Lead and mentor product managers, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting their professional growth
• 
  Stakeholder communication: Act as the primary contact for senior leadership, clients, and other stakeholders, providing updates on budgets, project progress, and operational risks
• 
  Process improvement: Drive standardization and best practices in product and project management to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction

We think you have:

• Leadership and specialist experience in managing product portfolios and leading teams within an international organization
• Expertise in project and portfolio management, including risk management, resource allocation, and financial oversight
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and align goals across departments
• Strong knowledge of industrial production processes and product lifecycle management
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; an MBA is preferred
• Certifications such as PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma are advantageous
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English is essential; additional language proficiency is a plus
• Experience in a relevant sector, preferably within the defense industry or related fields, with an understanding of industrial and industry dynamics
