Do you want to improve our global Compliance Program?
We are looking for an experienced and strategically minded Director Ethics & Compliance to operatively lead and enhance Nammo’s global Compliance Program. In this role, you will ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate risks, and promote a strong ethical culture across the organization. You will work closely with executive leadership, business units, and local compliance teams to integrate compliance into daily operations. Additionally, you will oversee policy development, training, and investigations to uphold the highest standards of integrity. The role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution. This position reports to SVP Sustainability and Compliance and involves collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
Your responsibilities
- Serving as the operational lead for Nammo’s global Compliance Program
- Monitoring regulatory developments (e.g., US DOJ, UK Bribery Act, OECD Guidelines) and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards
- Overseeing adherence to corporate compliance policies and recommending corrective actions when needed
- Conducting risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks (e.g., third-party relationships)
- Leading internal investigations in response to complaints and concerns
- Developing and leading Nammo’s anti-bribery and corruption program
- Promoting a strong culture of ethical business conduct and compliance across the organization
- Providing compliance training and awareness programs at Group level
- Leading and participating in Group Compliance Champions meetings
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance into daily business processes
Skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, law, compliance or a related field
- Experience in compliance leadership within an international company, including project leadership in compliance or sustainability programs
- Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements, including international compliance programs and industry standards
- Experience in conducting internal investigations and managing third-party compliance risks
- Knowledge of trade compliance and export control is an advantage
- Fluency in Norwegian/Swedish and English

Working Conditions
This is a full-time position, preferably based in Raufoss, Norway, but other Nammo locations may be considered. This role requires some travel.
Please note that the position requires you to obtain security clearance from national security authorities at NATO level.
