Exciting leadership opportunity in our Transformation team!
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity as Efficiency & Transformation Leader.
In this role you will be supporting the Chief Transformation Officer in defining the Transformation plan of the organization and monitoring the generated impact. You will be leading the team of currently 6 analysts, and you will play a crucial role in the development of an efficiency-driven culture, ensuring that we promote cost awareness throughout the organization while delivering exceptional value to our customers and stakeholders.
You will be part of the Transformation Office, and together with the team you will propose, implement, and monitor efficiency and transformation initiatives across the bank.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Direct leader for a team of 6 analyst
- Propose, align, and monitor efficiency and transformation initiatives.
- Support functional owners in budgeting, budget monitoring, and forecasting.
- Contribute to establishing a Nordic framework for cost awareness and facilitate processes in different functional areas.
- Share best practices within the Santander Group.
The Efficiency & Transformation Leader should have a collaborative leadership style that inspires, coaches and empowers the team, fosters strong stakeholder engagement, utilizes data-driven decision-making, adapts to dynamic challenges, and focuses on development of an efficiency-driven culture .
To succeed we believe that you fulfill most of these requirement:
Experience:
- More than 8 years in banking or a large international company, with proven experience in cost controlling and finance reporting
- Leadership experience
- Extensive knowledge of financial analysis, practices
- Up-to-date knowledge of project management principles.
Skills:
- Excellent financial analysis and financial calculation abilities.
- Problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Good stakeholder management, understanding of customer needs and process skills.
- Strong presentation and communication skills

- Proactive, organized, and result oriented.
- Adaptable, flexible, and a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
