Mechanic/Drivers are the Tier/Dott employees responsible for keeping our fleet healthy!
Mechanic
THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT
Execute the daily in and out-of-warehouse operations in Oslo Region
Triage & diagnose issues with vehicles that arrive in the warehouse;
Repair vehicles as efficiently as possible, maximizing the number of operational vehicles for customers in your city and minimizing the number of inactive vehicles;
Keep your warehouse tidy and organized, ensuring a smooth transition of vehicles in and out;
Assist with inventory management and monitoring spare parts and supplies;
Drive a provided van around the city in order to maintain the fleet of vehicles in good order;
Collect, redistribute, and swap the batteries of our vehicles using our proprietary in-house app;
Check and document any damage or repairs needed, and carrying out minor repairs on site;
Work with colleagues and the Operations Manager in the city to improve operational processes and ensure a great service for residents;
The precise distribution of responsibilities will correspond to the the evolution of the business and market presence.
YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Good experience and feeling comfortable working on the computer, smartphone and using apps in general;
Experience with the repair of automobiles, bicycles, e-bikes, or e-scooters is desirable, and a curiosity to familiarize yourself with new topics;
Flexibility to support and directly address tasks inside and outside of the warehouse, collect, redistribute, and swap the batteries of our vehicles, check and document any damage or repairs needed;
English skills are mandatory / local language knowledge is a nice to have;
Ability to work conscientiously and with a focus on safety;
Flexibility to work on a shift schedule;
Prior experience in delivery, warehousing, logistics, repair is valuable (including internships);
Prior experience in maintenance and repair is valuable;
A valid clean driver’s licence (type B).
