We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team at China Palace and Ying Ying restaurant. We are looking for both extra, part time and full time positions.
You must be able to work:
- evenings, weekends and public holidays as needed.
- whole summer (July and August in particular)
- whole December (except 24th and 25th December)
- New Years Eve 31st December and 1st of January.
Positions needed:
Waiter / bartender:
Serve guests, take orders, and maintain a positive and attentive demeanor.
Customer-focused attitude and a friendly personality a must. We need bartender who can work as waiter / busser when needed.
Bussers:
Assist waitstaff, clear tables, and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
Strong work ethic, fast on your feet and attention to detail required.
Dishwashers / Cleaners:
Keep kitchenware and utensils clean and sanitized to support efficient food preparation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain cleanliness standards.
Other positions available for the right person:
Cooks / Pastry cook / Deep fryer:
We need help in the kitchen for both hot kitchen and pastry section. Previous experience working in a mid sized a la carte restaurant is preferred.

China Palace and Ying Ying restaurant are expanding the team, we need more help for the busy summer and Christmas season, and the training for that needs to start now. For the right candidate we will extend to whole year contract.
China Palace is a traditional Chinese restaurant that opened in 1988. We have 180 seats in the middle of the city center of Bergen. Super family friendly with a Chinese Temple and a fish pond with turtles - perfect for a family gathering! Located in 2nd floor.

Ying Ying restaurant & lounge is a casual fine dining style with Asian fusion dishes with a cocktail bar, opened in end of 2023. Located on the 3rd floor with 120 seats.
